If it's in the fridge then it's probably fine. I've had some old hot sauce before, it's not as hot and loses some of it's flavour but it's fine

4 or 5 months????? first I thought you were talking about red hots,best to try a small bit out on the wife first.

I have a number of different types of hot sauce on the go at the same time. As long as you have it closed and refrigerated you should have no probs. Franks has preservatives so you should be fine. Any other without should be used in 6 to 8 months (a year tops)
