[purple_tory]

Hi All,

I came across these forums via filibuster and thought I would sign up.

Anyhow, the name is fairly descriptive.

I am a Tory booster. I am purple since I am a red tory (old red tory along the lines of George Grant) who is sympathetic to, but not entirely convinced by, blue fiscal policy. I guess if I am red it is mostly in the area of economics and social justice issues concerning poverty.

Then again, I am also in favor of reduced government (which makes me a bit of a libertarian but I have no idea about what colour that is).

The long and the short of it is that I love Canadian political thought and am thinking about a lot of things right now. I think this looks like a great place to learn.
