Yes, I do advocate Iraq. As for the destruction of Islam, it has always been on the basis of: if it had to come to that, I would not mind. (For it to come to that, times would have to be pretty bad.)

Well I respect that but I think that analogy is hardly equivocal to calling war a waste and then advocating it. It's like I am a peace loving hippy with Green Peace but then all of a sudden support the disposition of Saddam Hussein using that as a pretext of advocating war when all my beliefs belie that fact.

War is a means to an end- there can be terrible wastes with rewarding outcomes. Doesn't mean it nullifies the hideousness of those slain and doesn't mean it nullifies the fruits of victory. War is a strange creature.
