ridenrain ridenrain: Typical. The evil Swedes are setting up for an invasion of Russia and need an excuse. Wow, Beverbill. Them's some funny idea's you got there..
That military venture can't be too hard to realize.
We'll just buy some A-Bombs from the Russians on credit, which we'll never have to pay, and then nuke Tjetchnia, where all russian forces are located, and then send some on major cities to decimate the populous a bit before we begin our march toward freedom and democrasy.

xerxes xerxes: I don't know what the Sweedes are worried about. If the Russians try anything, they'll have to go through Finland first and that didn't work out so well last time.
Bear in mind the Finns had some help from Hitler in that one. They didn't stand on their own.

Or maybe you'll just hide in your barracks like the Swedish Army in Khandahar.

Is there a difference? I've never taken anything you have said in a modicum of seriousness old (well probably quite infantile) chap.
There, there, now be a good denuded viking and toddle off at let we Anglo-Saxons do the fighting.
That's what you have been doing for several hundred years now anyway.
Run and let us keep the globe safe, safe for Sweden.

Hmm, I knew they got help from the Swedes but not the Germans. Either way, considering the numerical advantages of the Russians, they still made a mighty mess of it.

Hitler helped the Finns because he didn't want the Russians to be any closer to him than they had to be. How else would you explain the German occupation of Lithuania at the same time the Russians were barging into Lithuania?

Uhm... back there (I mean WW2) the Finns had a blue swastika (Hakenkreuz) on their planes tanks n stuff (I know that from a friend of mine who was on vacation in Finnland and there he was in a museum where he took photos of the planes... I thought I have some pics of that on my hdd, but can't find them) and in case you're interested, go to Wikipedia
But the Swedish have some Leopard 2 A6M Tanks (which Canada wants to lease from Germany), and a T-90 is no match for them...

Actually.. we don't have any. We have a swedish modified version of Leopard 2, called Stridsvagn 122(Leopard 2A6), considered the most modern tank in the world.

As far as I know thas is the Leopard 2 A6M (M is for Mine Protection, but also includes overall enhaced armor), cause Germany has more than 40 regular Leo2 A6 but just 40 Leo2 A6M... where I'm stationed we had some Leo2 A5 5 years or so ago... (for heavy armor reconnaisance (I'm sure that's the wrong translation, but who cares anyway? ))

Yes, it has extensively enhanced armore, that's one of the improvements made. But, from my knowledge the Leopard 2 A6m is a German improved Leo2?

When are you ever going to use that 'wicked armour' in Afghanistan? Or won't they fit in your barracks?
Most modern tank in the world driven by people who won't fight. Good investment.
