I think we all know how wonderful and undefeatable you think Britain is. Face it, you guys needed the Americans help during World War 2 even, so what makes you think that having a small number of good trained troops will be able to defeat the US? I think it was you who said even the fulltime soldiers of the US don't add up to the part-time soldiers of Britain. Well, that is not true in the least. You are obviously a jingo.
On to the topic: no country has ever taken over the whole world, and I don't think it would be in anyones best interest to have China take over the US. I would much rathat have a multipolar world to have some sort of checks and balances(although they failed in Iraq)than one nation(such as China)taking over the US. Anyways, the US would never be able to take on the whole world, and this is just a ridiculous debate(no offense). The US would be able to destroy itself and the world, but not take it over.
Another thing GreatBriton: you have nothing to back up your claims. In the past 50 or so years, when armies have become modern, new technologies added, populations increased in the US's favor, I don't see how you can make such claims to the superiority of British and French forces over the US. I think either you are trying to piss Americans off by cutting them down constantly, or you are really a blind jingoist who thinks that the British military can take on the US even. It doesn't take a highly trained soldier to defeat an enemy, I mean look at Vietnam. I believe any human being, given the willpower and numbers, can over take an enemy. Britain doesn't have the numbers to A. fund a military on the level of the US's, and B. doesn't have the population to deal with constant attacks. Who helped you guys in World War 2 with supplies? This is not to say that Britain doesn't have top-notch soldiers, but so does the US and your whole opinions(yes opinions)of US full-time soldiers sucking are untrue. Alot of our special forces soldiers go on missions WITH British special forces soldiers in Iraq. If they were such terrible forces, why would they team them up with what you claim to be the best? You barely ever hear of an American special forces soldier dying, at least not on the same levels as the marines(who are sent into missions in which it's known people are going to die -- you can be the best soldier in the world, but that won't make you able to dogde a bullet or ied). Anyways, I know where this will go because you look down on Americans and there's no point in arguing with someone like you.
