Schleihauf Schleihauf:
US vs. the world? US would loose. Even if US was defending. If you use the argumanet of tech. vs. numbers look at germany vs. USSR, and US vs. Vietnam. Canada being Americas #1 ally and all if there this were to happen we should help the US (with our small population we could'nt do much though) . This is coming from someone who plans on joining the army.

Agreed to some extent. Much as I hate to admit it, if the U.S were invaded it "would" be in our best interests to help them(although I wouldnt) As for U.S' # 1 ally we arent, at least not anymore. Ask any American.

Its impossible to take the world over.Nobody has done it in the history of mankind. Lets say you take over a country like Ghengis Khan , eventually you cannot hold all of that territory as the Romans learned also. Its a joke to even argue this. People will also strive to be free so America couldnt keep the worlds people under its grasp.

I agree- like with the Death Star and the Empire. The more galaxies they grabbed, the more it slipped through their fingers. There will always be Jedis out there.

Even if the US did try to take over the world, there would be no way they could fight all the armies of the earth at once. Even if they are the most powerful nation. China alone has 2.2 million soldiers. The US would need help. Help like the UK. Tony Blair would do anything to get brownie points with George W. Bush.

LOL yes, I think the US is a papertiger. Really the US has lost its wars with any real formidable enemy. Plus the US is quick to give up once it suffer some casualties. Its a joke.
