Speaking of which, did I ever tell you guys my 9 - 11 story?

I was in freakin' New York!!

On business, me and four co-workers were there for a convention. My boss and I were eating breakfast in the hotel restaurant when we heard a commotion from the other side (by the television). We slowly made our way over to see what everbody was looking at. Right then plane #2 hit. We looked at each other, walked outside and saw the smoke coming up from downtown!

We went downtown (or as close as we could) the next day to offer help but were turned away.

New york was a scary place to be, dummies wearing turbins hung as if by a noose on front porches. People slamming the bar and slurring "I wanna see a mushroom cloud!" Not that I blame them, but I wanted to get home.

We were supposed to fly home the next day but nothing was moving for like the next week. We finally rented a minivan and the five of us drove non-stop from New York to Regina... man did that van smell bad by Regina.

Where were YOU when it happened? I'll bet everybody can remember...

no one is going to forget what they were doing the moment they found out what happened in New York that day. My mom still remembers what she was doing when JFK was shot. On 9/11, i was asleep, then my mom woke me up and said a plane had crashed into the WTC's. At first i thought it was a small plane, like a cessna or something. but when i saw what was on TV on, i just stood there and all of a sudden the first tower collapsed, right when i walked into the room. I'll never forget that.

In Economics class, when one of the history teachers came in and told us what happened. I can remeber thinking that it was all some sick joke untle I saw what was happening on TV. Remeber watching the towers fall. Most of the school was shocked but a couple of sick fucks where actually cheering when it happened. For the rest of the day I was just numb.

I was at work.I went into the store room to get suplies & the young guy in there told me a plane had just hit a tower .I thought wow that's to bad.How the hell did that happen.I came back about a half hour latter & he said a second plane hit the other tower. At that point I told him about BinLaden tho I didn't know his name I knew about him.I told the kid then that his life as he knew it would never be the same again.About a month or so latter the kid was gone. He'd joined the army.I think of that 19 year old often & wonder how different his life must be today.

I was watching it on TV live and when I saw the second plane hit the second Tower.
That's when it became clear that it was no accident. In about 50 years, we'll find out what it was all about.

After all, how long did it take to publish a picture of David Ferrie shooting Kennedy?

In the 1960's, if you said grassy knoll you were called a conspiracy theorist. Now, it's taken for granted that the grassy knoll was a source of gunfire.

Today, 911 "truthers" are ridiculed. Things change.
