I’m no bible thumper, but all this lack of Christmas is bothersome. Can somebody tell me when the edict to delete any references to ‘Christmas’ and replace it with the lame ‘holiday’ was issued?

It seems that all the stores are somehow afraid to mention the fact that Christmas is coming, and have replaced it with the politically correct ‘holiday’. Wankers!

Even the bloody liquor store has 'holiday '08' signs instead of any mention of Christmas. It's like the thought police are all over this.

We have "Gay Pride week" ( and I'm all for the queers getting a break) where guys wearing leather can kiss each other and grab their crotches in public, and our politicians fall over each other to be seen there.

But we can't say "Merry Christmas"?

Lets face it the santa idea and the christmas tree have nothing to do with the birth of Christ.. however these are traditions passed down through the ages. My kids know the difference and we celebrate the season.. why should people come here and try and change this? so the way to keep it is to celebrate it and wish everyone you meet Merry Christmas..
