And your main reason is because people needing work are moving to Alberta from the east? The companies in Alberta desperatly need employees and actively recruit in the east even? Doesn't make much sense to me to seperate and make it harder.
Provincial barriers should be broken down, with inter-province trade and such.

I would like to see a East/West build up of infrastructure, sorta like what President Franklin D. Roosevelt did during the Great Depression for the United States. (
I personally think this is one of the reasons why the United States is now an economic power)
Has anyone here driving on hwy #1 between Kamloops and Jasper? A small narrow road which links central BC and Vancouver to the rest of Canada.
I would like to see a toll superhighway from Calgary to Vancouver.
I would love to see the same for the northern territories. The construction of superhighways in Northern Canada, Dams, and so on.
I know our largest trading partner is to the south and most Province trade north/south, but in a way this is what hurt's Canada's unity.
