I'm just wondering why nobody is streaming World Woman Hockey Championship?
I'd like to see the Canada - Finland game right now! And I live in Sweden so I can't watch it on TSN.

I'm watching the Finland game on TSN right now.
But yeah, it's irritating these women don't get enough attention. They win medals for us more consistently than anybody. It's fun hockey too.
Geez Haley Wickenheiser is still playing. She'll be playing forever. She's like the Gordie Howe of women's hockey.
I would hope players like her and Goyette are going to make it into the Canadian sports hall of fame. It would be insulting if they weren't.
Last week I heard they were playing some team like Japan, or China. I would have liked to have seen that. I mean yeah, right now it would be a massacre, but I'd like to see how the Asian teams are coming along. Once they get into a sport they can come along fast. The Chinese women's curling team won the big one this year. Wouldn't it be terrible if the Chinese beat Canada at hockey next year in the olympics. I mean to lose to the Chinese at home, that would be a national tragedy.
The Canadians just scored. 3-0 now.

I agree with you. Well, I knew that Canada would win this game. But it's more fun to watch than just see the final score results after the game.
I think they should broadcast every game when it's a WHC. But there's nothing to do about it, I guess. Well, go Canada!

LOL chinese are okay at women's hockey but they are not world beaters in 2005 The Chinese National team came to Vancouver and played the South Coast All star team made up from girls playing on various AAA teams in the Lower mainland. We lost the first game 4-1 but we beat them the next day 5-2. That was the best team they ever assembled, they went across Canada and got their asses handed to them by several club teams.
Did we have a single national team player on our roster uhm No not even one girl in the national team program. Were they coached by the best team Canada coaches.. uhm no they were coached by the 4 coaches of the AAA teams in the lower mainland.
Chinese beat us in hockey..LOL I think not.

It still scares the hell out of me to think about Chinese with blades on their feet. On a side not, in this spirit of equality, are you as a male member of the team, allowed to go into the locker rooms and do the post game ........chats?

Was that the same group of Chinese athletes that got busted in Sydney for importing steroids and HGH? They were bringing the stuff in for their countrymen studying veterinary medicine in Australia. Honest, that shit wasn't for the Chinese Olympic Women's Swim Team, each of them with 5" clitorises (is that the correct plural or is it "clitori"?) and a goatee.

yes shep as a male coach.. I went into dressing rooms 20 minutes before and 20 minutes after game time. That was the coaches time.
It's called respect for your coach. Thats my time to go over what we are doing etc.. no different than a guys team. Players at the beginning of the game helmets and gloves off full equipment. After the game most would wear full jersey and equipment, some would get rid of their shoulders and elbow pads and either just wear a t shirt or put their jersey back on.
After I talked I left the room.. that is then their time to get dressed and get ready. We used to travel together all over Canada and the US. Planes, trains, buses and autombiles. Thousands upon thousands of miles and arena and hotels everywhere.
It's all about integrity and honesty. I was very honest with my players. Did I have a lot of fantastic looking players play for me over the past 10- 12 years. yes I did. First and foremost they are ladies and are treated as ladies. Secondly they are hockey players and were treated as professionals no matter where they went.

I was involved at pretty good levels of hockey both female and male over the years as a player, coach, owner and scout. Had a lot of fun through the years going from Rink to Rink. Had a lot of great times talking to and being with a lot of great people. I'm 43 now I figure I've still got at least 22 more years left in me.
