I wonder why Montreal picked Price. Ya he's a great goalie, but Montreal isn't lacking in the goalie department, Theo has that covered. I wonder why they didn't pick O'Marra or somone of that scoring calibur.

I wanted the nucks to pick O'Marra. I thought for sure Montreal would pick Brule from here.

The nucks got Luc Bordeon (SP?) who's a great defensmen, so thats somthing to be thankful for at least.

Personally, I wanted the Canadiens to pick Puliot. Maybe they picked Price so they can sell him to a team with a weak goalie for a good forward. We'll see...

Pouliot was the habs first choice... he was picked just before by the Wild.

I know, but if I had been the GM and they had picked him I would have gone for O'Marra or another strong forward.

Okay, well I don't know a thing about O'Marra. What kind of player is he? I know a lot of fans would have prefer a guy like Brule or Kopitar but... what can we do. We'll see maybe Price will turn out to be the best nhl goaltender in the future.. who knows? Thedore may not stay with the Habs for very long...

Stupid Pick for Nonis.. were up past our asses in talented big defensemen... no sense what so ever... we could have oh.. taken a center what we really actually freaking need.. ZDid anyone see him play.. yes he was on ValDor and played 30 minutes a game but he was a -39.. what the F**K do we want a defenceman whose a minus 39.. oh my lord... You have the tenth pick overall.. if you had the 20th pick he still would have been available. Get some support for Naslund or bert if they are coming back....
They could have taken.
Anze Kopitar 1 rated european, Ryan O'Marra, Martin Hanzal... even Statsny's kid entered the draft.

or they could have taken Alex Bourret for example great kid, RW cuase he bangs and crashes at lightning speed.. or Kenndal McArdle, a kid from burnaby.....
but no we have to take yet another big puck moving defenceman with a hard shot... We have Sopel, Jovo, Malik, Ohlund down in the minors we have Kotsov and Vinardi... off making the cut they took J Demone.. F**K enough... Your goaltending sucks get rid of Dan the Man, they dumped hedberg.. they have no depth in goal Flarety and Auld in the minors... Start making some stuff happen Mr Nonis.. or sit on your hands...do nothing and lose you job you idiot....

Don't understand why San Jose went up 4 places and blew off 2 draft choices when the kid they wanted still would have been there.. he was projected mid teens early 20's....

I think Montreal took price cause they are going to gas or trade either Jose Theodore or Garon this year.
They should have taken Brule..... Gilbert in Columbus. now I have to follow Blue jacket hockey... yuck At least the have NASH to play with him........

I know what you mean...:s At least my buddy Kassian went to the Wild, so we should see him some when he makes it!
 We made him, Tristan Grant, and a Giants fight DVD for alot of them. Some (like Kassian) even passed it along to prospective NHL teams to watch. :D

Well... I think the best thing that happened for the Leaf's yesterday was the O'Neill pickup from the hurricanes.. 3 mill over two years plus a 4th rounder in the 2006.. thats a pretty decent score i think. Any thoughts?
