I would like to know how everybody here feels about the way things are going in the NHL with all the rule changes.

I am especially interested in your views of the Shootout to end the game.

I hate the idea very much.

I was always told that hockey is a team sport. The outcome of the game should be decided by all the players and coaches in the game, and not by a couple of goaltenders and a few chosen players who maybe good at shooting against him.

Now I maybe bias because I am a HABS fan, but I think one of the best games ever played was the one between the Montreal Canadiens and the Soviet Red Army Team at the old Montreal Forum almost 30 years ago.

Am I the only one who has an opinion of this, or what do you say??

Hockey is still a team sport. I think that the shoot out adds more excitment to the game!
