Crap the Lightning scored 3:33 into the OT period to win the game 6-5 and take a 2-1 lead in the series.

Not too often you'll see Lundqvist get 6 goals scored on him, never mind in back to back games. 8O I thought for sure after Game 2 he'd be in lock-down mode. Sure glad he wasn't though

And the Rangers tie the series 2-2 with a 5-1 road game win over Tampa Bay.

Well,it would seem nobody predicted both series would go the limit of 7 games. Strutz probably came closest with her call of "both series would go 6 or 7 games". Friday sees game 7 between the Rangers and Lightning being played in Madison Square Garden while Saturday sees game 7 between the Blackhawks and Ducks being played in Anaheim. I'll make no predictions on either game as both series have been a total crap-shoot so far and I can't see either game 7 being any different. No doubt about it though, both games should be great viewing, I know where I'll be Friday and Saturday evening!

Bingo. All four teams have looked unbeatable some nights and left you wondering how they made the playoffs on others. :?

Definitely tuning in for both game sevens though!

No surprise at all that both series have gone the full 7 games to decide. Quite evenly matched teams and hell, it's good for the networks, advertisers, and everyone else who makes $ out of it.

I expect that one, if not both, will also go into OT... just because. 8)

I agree but watching this series I think Tampa has a better chance of potentially winning against the hard hitting west teams than NY would have.

No comments on Chicago's 5-3 defeat of the Ducks? Game 1 of the finals goes Wednesday in Tampa Bay.

I'd say that Tampa should win against any other team because they have so many intangibles working in their favour. But the Hawks knocked off what I consider to be the toughest team that made the playoffs i.e. Anaheim. If they can contain Tampa's tendency to erupt with massive scoring binges then Chicago should win it. What will it be for Chicago, their third cup in seven or eight years? Pretty impressive considering that dynasties are damn hard to build these days.

I didn't expect that Tampa Bay would win that final game so easily.

Missed the final with Chicago-Anaheim but was not surprised to see Chicago take it.

Final round should be interesting.
