I know most folks here are disappointed that only one Canadian-based team made the playoffs this year but the playoffs are going on anyway

Anyone interested in posting their predictions?

Round #1 match-ups:

Montreal vs Tampa
Pittsburgh vs Columbus
NY Rangers vs Philadelphia
Boston vs Detroit

San Jose vs Los Angeles
Anaheim vs Dallas
St. Louis vs Chicago
Colorado vs Minnesota

Hockey is a religion in Montreal.

Round #1 match-ups:

Montreal in 5
Pittsburgh in 4
Philadelphia in 6
I think Detroit will give Boston a lot more trouble than anyone thinks.
7 games, no call.

San Jose in 7 this should be the best series
Anaheim in 5
Colorado in 4
Chicago in 7

Okay, so here's my picks for the 1st round......

Montreal over Tampa in 5
Pittsburgh over Columbus in 5
NY Rangers over Philadelphia in 6
Detroit over Boston in 7

San Jose over Los Angeles in 6
Anaheim over Dallas in 5
Chicago over St. Louis in 7
Colorado over Minnesota in 6

The only sentimental pick, the one I'm maybe not too sure about, is the Detroit vs Boston series.

Wow, it looked like Chitown had it in the bag with their play late in the 2nd and the start of the 3rd. Took too many penalties in the 3rd and let St Louis tie it up with 7 seconds left, opening the way for the Blues to take it in OT again, at least this game was settled in the 1st OT period.

Philly and the Rangers tied at one game apiece as are Boston-Detroit.

Game 3 Habs-Tampa in a few minutes.

$1:
Rule 69 – Interference on the Goalkeeper

69.1 Interference on the Goalkeeper - This rule is based on the premise
that an attacking player’s position, whether inside or outside the
crease, should not, by itself, determine whether a goal should be
allowed or disallowed. In other words, goals scored while attacking
players are standing in the crease may, in appropriate circumstances
be allowed. Goals should be disallowed only if: (1) an attacking
player, either by his positioning or by contact, impairs the goalkeeper’s
ability to move freely within his crease or defend his goal; or (2) an
attacking player initiates intentional or deliberate contact with a
goalkeeper, inside or outside of his goal crease. Incidental contact
with a goalkeeper will be permitted, and resulting goals allowed, when
such contact is initiated outside of the goal crease, provided the
attacking player has made a reasonable effort to avoid such contact.
The rule will be enforced exclusively in accordance with the on-ice
judgement of the Referee(s), and not by means of video replay or
review

There was no interference, Price even shoved him as he was trying to get out of the way.

It was appropriate.

Columbus Blue Jackets did an amazing comeback after being down 3-1 aginst the Pens. They won 4-3 in the Second OT. It's the first win ever for the Blue Jackets in the post season. They've only been around about 4 or 5 years in Columbus. I know some of the hockey fans there and they celibrated the win as if it was a win for Stanley Cup. [B-o]
