Woot - it's going to be an physical series... Now, if the reffing could somewhat get just a little bit better, it will be an awesome series (weren't the refs just completely awful?? I'm just bracing for Saturday, we'll probably get Mr Magoo).

I know Crosby is 19, but for the love of god, SHUT UP. I say he actually cries by the end of the series (I love Crobsy, he just need to grow up

Not quite. 6-3.

My take. Perfect game by the Sens until the last 7 or so minutes of the 3rd as I guessed and predicted in typical Sens fashion, lay back and relax and take stupid or non-existant penalites. Great defense, great offense however, goaltending, while satisfactory with minimal shots has yet to prove in clutch positions and that first goal against Emery was pretty...dumb.

The Penguins got three goals they shouldn't have gotten while Sens went on a scoring plethora. Is high scoring what's needed for the Sens to win games? Do they need 10-3 scoring odds to win?

Let's hope they bring that exact game next time and the next 3 times.

That's a good assessment Tman1 - the SENS need to stop sitting back on their lead, especially against a team like the Pens.

But the bad reffing has got to stop - both ways.. You could tell in the 3rd that most of the penalties for the SENS were make-up penalties for the ones given to the Pens in the first.

I'm going to the Saturday game - funny that they're using pompoms this year. The SENS better bring the same kind of game again..

I'm off to the game - I'm quite worried, Mr Magoo is reffing this one - why couldn't he stay in the Western Conference?? I don't know what Ottawa did to deserves this, but having Devorski AND Magoo back to back is complete torture...

But I hope the SENS completely destroy the Pens this afternoon (cleanly though), that Crosby keeps crying, that Roberts, Orpik, Rechhi, Malkin, Crosby, Armstrong and Laraque keep getting acquainted with the boards, courtesy of Volchenkov, Shubert, Neil and Fisher, and that the crowd is as loud as Wednesday night...

Oh and don’t humiliate them this game. I read an article yesterday and the Pens were suggesting the Sens were out to humiliate them in that first game. Wish I could find it now, Sens fans would have a good laugh over it.

I have been listening to the overnight Fox sports radio shows and I am finding more support for Ottawa than here in the local media.

Most folks I have spoken to have said the Sens in six. Well that means we will lose two games. So big deal we lost a game! That's no reason to jump all over the team. If that was your prediction we may lose one more before it is over. It has been great hockey, good hard fought games are what it is all about.

Great game except the second period as the Sens usually slack off in the third. Back to Ottawa to finish em off with style. Do the Sens (if they win) play the Rangers/Thrashers or Tampa Bay/Jersey?
