Well it looks like the poor old Leafs are going to have to share second place with Detroit for most cup wins. None of us will see the No. one Habs toppled but we will second place shared. Poor Leafs now they have to win next season just to get second place back.

You could have to keep worse company. How sick would you feel if you were saying Tampa Bay or Columbus?

The Islanders could catch 'em 4 Cups.... And they've only been around since early '70's... Or Oilers in NHL since 1979 & have 5 Cups....

Maybe the new Hamilton/Kitchener/Waterloo team will catch 'em and that's why the Leafs don't want to share their territory... :D :D :D :D

Yes yes we all know the habs are number one and there is a reason for that. No one is going to catch the habs in anyone's life time here on this site now or perhaps never.
I only care about the Leafs and hanging on to second place because that is all Leafs Fans have left to hang on to because they sure don't seem in a hurry to win another one any time soon. 40+ years and counting and soon it will be 50 years and counting. I'm just wondering when (or if ) Leafs Fans will finally say enough is enough and march against the teachers union. If it were the habs there would have been riots and maybe that's what TO needs.

Brilliant. Yeah, it's the Teachers Union - someone has been skimming dipwad papers like the Sun again. I'm a huge fan, but wannabes like you annoy the Taco Bell Crap outta' me. The Leafs are plagued by junky philosophies (like trading away future talent and draft picks for aging veterans), questionable front office moves, silly corporate decisions, idiot fans that don't demand results - it's not the Union who's at fault.

Although if we follow your EA 2009 logic, i guess the Teachers Union screwed up by putting Burke in charge, giving him carte blanche to implement his hockey vision and allowing him to run the team as a hockey guy? I guess the Sun forgot to help you with that one.

Maybe stay out of big hockey talk and go back to wearing your XXXL Cheezy Poof stained, Gilmour jersey and pretending you know anything about the Leafs beyond Shoppers Drug Mart Car Flag proudly displayed on the suicide doors of your '96 Hyundai Accent Interceptor.

These guys are the ones that give Leafs Nation the bad rep. I apologize to everyone for his behavior. Don't worry, he has to be in bed after the 1st intermission.

Wow did Mommy help you with your grammer and big words. With fans like you perhaps the Leafs deserve to go another 40+ years without a cup.

Nope, but my mommy does knows how to spell "grammar", but the irony isn't lost on anyone, you mope.

I guess you're not going to actually respond to anything of substance, so it's back to the basement to kick ass on NHL '95 and high-five yourself when you lay the smack down on Roenick.

Again, i apologize to everyone for wannabe superfan's behavior and smell, but this year, the library letting him rock the net unsupervised so it get ugly before it gets better.

I really think its a redundant question, sure the Habs ect... had their great dynasty hey-days, but lets face the facts, year to year no team is the same, though it's closer these days with the long term contracts being signed. To say one team is better than the other is just not true 'cause in 12 months it's a different team.
So in closing, support who you like and GO FLAMES GO
