Florida signs C Joe Niewendyk & LW Gary Roberts OMG, your freakin kidding me right?
I think it's unfortunate, because now Niewendyk won't be able to win a Stanley Cup with every team he ever played for. Also, I really liked seeing Niewendyk play for the Leafs.

Their payroll was too high to sign them. They couldn't match the money because they didn't have the room and they offered a one year deal. They were a package as well.

well its that and the fact that they want to end there career togeather. And florida was the only team that would take them.

hmm lets see lindros and leclair together.. why not pick up Amonte too.. full line you could probably get them all for about hmm $12 million.. Salary cap is $39 million.. leaves about $27 million to spend.....Sundin, Tucker, MacCabe, Belfour, Kidd.. 8 players named... hmm even if 1 or two sign for only a million your still up there.. with Fergie stating that they can't be too close to the cap.. got to leave room for 2006. should be interesting.... Good luck..
