Tman1 Tman1:
They still have Fleury or is he still on their farm team?

They still have to sign their number one goalie, but Fleury is likely to be their backup goalie.

Interesting signing by the Nucks.....not too sure what to think other than the blazing speed and the smallish stature of Richard Park. It might go over well with the "new" NHL being implemented....but I still have a nagging feeling this might have been a knee jerk reaction by Nonis with all the movement lately of players. We shall see!

I think Park will add some secondary scoreing, your right, blazing speed and even though he's not that big a guy he's a good two way player.

Okay, he's an okay player, maybe third or fourth liner, but we need more defense, not offense right now. Must be a marketing ploy to encourage more asians to buy tickets....

Why? I'm not being racist IMO. It was even being discussed on the radio.

I agree there are alot of idiots on the radio, and I'm not suggesting that is the reason they picked up Park, but it is a valid statement IMO. But, I'll not discuss it anymore.

Canucker's statement is just as valid as saying the GG is a good example/inspiration to others... just saying that people are likely to relate to things like ethnicity.

Does BC have a large asian population to appeal to??

Yes Cloutier (aka the siv) is still under contract with the Nucks....least to my knowledge he is.

I am getting worried about the Nuck's D situation right now. They are still short 2 D-men and nothing has been done to improve the situation. They need to get the ball rolling and close up this wound they have. I hear Brendan Witt wants out of Washington....he could make a capable stay at home D-man. But we still need to replace Sopel's offensive numbers. I think that Hamrlik is about the only option left.

Cloutier is a restricted free agent with the 'nucks...
