Because he has played like crap this season (like your Theodore). He's not worth the money he's making.

Hopefully playing Aebischer will be a descision they will continue to make so the Leafs can squeeze into that final playoff spot.

Doesn't matter Montreal does, Toronto would still need to figure out how to win a game or two.

It will be a shame if Les Canadiens do not make the playoffs.
I was reading a article in the Toronto Sun talking about the possibility of not only them, but Edmonton, Vancouver, and Calgary not making it.
They say that the CBC will be hurting if not that many Canadian teams make it. But then, they think it will be a disaster if Toronto does not make it.
There are other good canadian teams this year. They are saying it because of the fact that toronto may not make it, which is fine by me.
I will be cheering for the boys of the "bleu, blanc et rouge" always, especially now that "crunch time" is here and they should make the playoffs!!
SUFFER LEAFS FANS!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes!!!!!! Go Habs go!!!!!
While I am now an avid Ottawa fan, and my family has been aswell since they came back over ten years ago. But before the Sens, we were hardcore Habs fans, so the Habs will always have a place in my heart. No matter how good or bad they become.
And on a side note, I love Vancouver too.

Calgary is third in the standings, what makes them think the possiblity Calgary wouldn't make it? Calgary isn't the best of the bunch by any means but comparing them to Edmonton and Vancouver who crashed and burned is a little off.

Hey, Calgary won 7 - 2 tonight in St Louis and the Canucks won in a terrific 9 min delay in a shootout over Edmonton with Bertuzzi getting the winner!

Ok well a little 2 cents here....the habs won the majority of those cups in the "old NHL" so it really isnt fair to say that they have won the most cups, the NHL has changed so much since the good old days that have never been able to duplicate what they once had.
Having said that I like Montreal, its vancouver, then montreal for me. I dislike the leafs for the simple fact that TSN is like LEAFS LEAFS LEAFS blah blah blah LEAFS LEAFS LEAFS....sick of it, they make them out to be Canada's team, the one and only! Freyed knot my friends....not on this side of our beloved country.
But ya, If VC aint playin go habs go!

That is what I don't get about Ottawa fans, basically anybody older than 14 years old who hopes for Ottawa abandoned their hockey team to cheer for them, that is typical of a fan Base that hops on and off the bandwagon, such as the Fans of the Habs!

Wow, you severely misunderstand.
I love Ottawa. If we play the Habs, Canucks, or Red Wings, I fiercely cheer for my home team. I go to these games, because it's a match between my favourite teams.
For Example, when Ottawa plays Montreal, I root for Ottawa.
When Montreal plays Toronto, I root for Montreal. See how that works?

Well, the Flames just lost to the worst team in the NHL after a blowout of the Blues. This should have been the easiest 2 points collected and the Avalanche aren't going to piss around. Makes me wonder about their chances in the playoffs. I have no problems with the Flames dedication nor defense but if they expect to play marquee teams then they need to step it up with bottom feeder teams as well as top notch teams like Detroit. They did it before and I know they can do it again.
P.S - I cheer for all the brave Canadian teams that compete against the ever increasing onslaught of American dominance of our coveted silver cup.

I just don't understand Leaf Nation, with its neverending celebration of everything mediocre, the latest example being that ridiculous ceremony for Tie Domi's 1000th game - pathetic, and the fans lapped it up.
Such low standards, no wonder the Leafs suck...

Hasn't Tie Domi been benched?
