Wow. Whaddya know, the Oilers lost 5-1 tonight. That's their 12 lost in a row.
"The Oilers have lost 12 straight after they were routed 5-1 by the Avalanche on Wednesday night. Edmonton is also winless in 11 games since trading forward Ryan Smyth to the New York Islanders, and is nearing the team-record 14 game winless streak from the 1993-94 season."
I support the Oilers...
...quest to beat their own record and go for beating the NHL's!
Longest Losing Streak
* Overall: 17 games, by 1974-75 Washington Capitals and 1992-93 San Jose Sharks
* Home: 14 games, by 2003-04 Pittsburgh Penguins
* Away: 38 games, by 1992-93 Ottawa Senators
Just 5 more games! C'MON OILERS! YOU CAN DO IT!
Oilers have 8 more games this season. Meaning if they don' win at all, they could have a losing streak of 20. And it could stretch into the next season. (they arn't going to the playoffs, you can get rid of that pipedream right now)
Will they win any?
March 2007
Date, Who, Where, My Prediction
Mar. 23 Colorado home (L)
Mar. 24 Nashville home (L)
Mar. 27 Nashville away (L)
Mar. 29 St. Louis away (L)
April 2007
Apr. 1 Chicago away (L)
Apr. 3 Minnesota away (L)
Apr. 5 Minnesota away (L)
Apr. 7 Calgary away (L)

The Oilers are taking this trade worse than the Gretzky trade. Kinda sad.
I formally invite you to the Canucks camp for the remainder of the Season and Post Season. You have no obligation to continue the support of the Canucks either: 1) they are eliminated from the playoffs; 2) they win the Cup and the 2006/2007 Season officially ends.
This is a time limited offer, act now. Accept no substitutions!

I only made this hate thread so other hockey fans can come here and say what they would normally say in other threads, After 12 losses, I think alot of Hockey Fans are laughing.

Don't support the Canucks, but support the fallen Leafs?????
I think Not!!!!!
Vancouver, the best record in the NHL since Christmas
96 points to date vs what, 80 for Toronto.
Third in the Western Conference vs 9th and out of the playoffs in the east for Toronto
First in the most competitive division in the NHL, vs third in a division that only has two good teams and Toronto isn't one of them????
Best Goalie in the NHL in Luongo vs, who do you have in net again?
Oh yeah, Go, um, who, what Lea..... Bullshit,
GO CANUCKS!!!!!!

You would if you were a Flames fan in the 80's, then you'd want to beat that dead horse until you had glue. I still have Red glue leftover from back then.
Last night , the Oil wanted to mail that game in, but they couldn't find anyone on the bench that wanted to put in the effort to lick the stamp.

I'm a big time Canucks fan, but even I'm, getting sick of watching the Oil lose. That GM should be lynched for dealing the heart and soul of the team. It's hard to watch any team get beat that badly--OK, well maybe if it was the Leafs...

Yep, them Oilers must really hate the Flames...it's almost like they are conspiring to lose and kick the Flamers (oops, Flames) out of the playoffs too.
You know what they say WDHIII, misery loves company!

But how 'bout them Canucks. Man, they just handled Nashville last night. Just efficiently put them away, and Nashville hardly got a sniff. Granted--NAshville was missing some key players but that's twice in five nights that Vancouver has beaten the top team in the NHL!

Good for Vancouver,
Toronto is actually 8th in a 3 way tie and actually is in a playoff spot. Just so ya know, Anti-Leafer.
Kinda sad, I was expecting this Anti-Oil thread to be invaded with insane Flame fans, who would bash the Oilers and laugh at this halarious 12 game losing streak.
Instead Canuck fans come and bash the Leafs.
Wow. Vancouver and Ottawa, the two Anti-Toronto cities who have no other platform for their team really. Even Montreal has a platform other then Hating Toronto.
Just so you know Vancouver, we hate you too.

Anyway.
So, on your scale, You hate the Leafs more then the Oilers, The Leafs, a team not even in your conference. One you play maybe once a year. If you are lucky.
Pathetic team platform.
