Yup. They were art of my childhood, too ... and Johnny Essaw, who passed away last year.

BTW, Dick Irvin's dad (also Dick) coached the Habs in their glory years. I'm a bit too young to remember, though. it was Toe Blake and Scotty Bowman when I was little.

Never did like the team he broadcasted for but definitely most deserving of being a member of the Order of Canada. The man has forgot more about hockey than most of todays announcers know.

Grew up in London Ontario and spent my early years watching the Bruins training camp. Guys like Orr, Espo, Hodge, Cheevers and company how could I not be a Bruins fan.

Also, my wifes uncle has an autographed photo of him giving Orr a haircut.

my Saturday game was all I had to watch heroes.
