Why are the Boston Bruins and the Boston Red Socks the same? Neither one can play hockey.

I think that the Bruins should concentrate on packing up all their stuff into smaller boxes so they only need one or two moving trucks. I bloody hate the Bruins

Interesting just checked on yahoo team active roster for Boston..Potvin is not listed...Boston only has one active goaltender ????

'Cuz they're the seond-worst offender among the teams that overpaid players and forced the lock-out and the resulting cap (that alone should condemn them to another 38 years without a Cup)?

'Cuz they haven't figured-out how to compete in a league where building a mediocre team will take more management skill than buying one?

Uh cuz they're low-ballin guys like Nieuwendyk and Roberts?

Cuz they want to see how the free-agent market plays out before they jump in the water (by which time there'll be no water in the pool)?

No word of a lie, in yesterdays G&M, Leafs management was quoted as saying they "might hold back on big-name signings until next year, when there'll be a lot of quality UFA's available, like Jarome Iginla" (DOH!!!).

And some Toronto T.V. hack scoffed when Niedermeyer's agent said that Edmonton and Calgary were among the four teams that were being seriously considered by his guy.

Of course Nieder wouldn't want to play for teams that are going to have much improved lineups (i.e., Edmonton & Calgary), he'd much rather play for a team that might not even make the playoffs (Leafs) with the talent it's got left.
