Can I be the first to point out there's only 2 players from the Q?

It's nice to have it at home, but I kind of like the early games when I can go out to the pond, pull up a piece of ice and fish while listening to it on the radio.

No Wifi out at the pond.

Can't wait.

No big deal there A_r, but I think you must have done gone froze your counter out there on the ice, unless you don't count the goalie as a "player". The QMJHL has one player in each position for a total of 3......

yep your right, I missed the forward. I can't believe the goalie got traded just before this starts. It's not as if he doesn't have enough things to think about. There must be a Christmas Trading deadline.

Damn, a 2-1 OT loss to Russia even though Team Canada outshot them 53-20. Team Canada will travel to Ottawa to play its next exhibition game Sunday at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa against Sweden.

After playing Sweden, Canada will face Switzerland in its final exhibition tune-up Tuesday at Bell Centre in Montreal.

The tournament gets under way Boxing Day when Canada goes up against Slovakia.

The World Juniors!!!!

Best hockey of the year!!!!

The boys looked solid against Russia. With three of our best forwards out of the lineup, it bodes well for our offence output later on when the games count. They also looked pretty good in their own end and that's at least as important as goal production. We'll see a little better against the Swedes next.
