You, me and the entire crowd sitting there. They said the teammates picked their own players. I think the Slovaks messed up. It was nice to see the crowd chanting for Godla and giving him the recognition he deserved. That kid played an absolutely amazing game. He should be extremely proud of himself, as should the rest of his team and his country.

Amazing game indeed. Sheesh, the score could easily have been... what 10 - 1 or more. I also was glad to hear the crowd give him his due and to see him acknowledge them.

Got a real kick watching Nic's Mum and Dad celebrate his goals especially when his Dad came down and threw the hat on the ice. Also glad to see Anthony Duclair finally get a goal - that kid has been on the doorstep so many times you just knew he had to score sooner or later.

Team Canada may have won the game with a convincing score, 5-1, but it definitely wasn't their best played game of the series. Truth is, their play was nothing else but sloppy for a good part of the game. They're going to have to pull it all together against Russia if they want to skate off with the gold tomorrow.

Great game!

Godla was incredible in goal and without a doubt should have been MVP. He's undrafted too... should be interesting to see who might draft him this year.

I have missed almost all the tournament but got to see the 2nd & 3rd tonight. I'll miss the first period tomorrow plus some but at least I'll see the end result.

GO CANADA!

No kidding. Not counting the two games against Canada his GAA was 1.5 with a .960 SVS and is probably the primary reason they're even in a medal game this year. Even counting the shelling he took in Game 1 he still had a pretty respectable .936 SVS. And despite the shelling he took again tonight, it could have easily been 10-1 or more

As for Canada with a 29-4 GF-GA, a 46.6% PP and 94% PK, it's no wonder they rolled through this tourney into the gold medal game. They just need to keep their wits about them and they'll win the gold this year.

Watching Canada win gold is the ultimate feeling but watching the Sweds lose a bronze isn't to bad either.

Truly happy to see Slovakia win the Bronze - very deserving win against an arguably 'better' team. Loved the crowd reaction to seeing Godla get the recognition he so richly deserves.

Now for the Big One.

GO, CANADA, GO.........ROCK THE ICE KIDS.
