Got a lead from my cousin who lives near Grand Prairie. One of his neighbors went thru much the same situation as mine. A Dr. in G.P. was able to remove the growth & repair his hernia successfully. I have spoken with this Drs. office and been accepted for assessment pending referral from my Dr. I have been told that the referral has now been faxed.

Faxed ! Which century is this doctor from again. You sure he would tell you to bite down on a piece of leather while he goes to work with a hacksaw !

I am now scheduled for an MRI, a bone scan & nerve conductive tests on June 9th in Edmonton. Going to be a busy day! I was notified today that the Dr who ordered up all these tests for me has just taken "an extended, possibley permanent leave of absence from practicing medicine, therefore will not be doing any follow-up on you. Very sorry for an inconvenience". No fucking kidding! He was my own surgeons 'great white hope'. Still waiting to hear back about the referral to the surgeon in G.P. Coincidentally, the mother of one of the fellows In my puter class is also one of Dr. Miles hernia revision successes.
