Cool that this season they are playing on Empire Field. Ahhhh... the old Empire Stadium locale... i remember when I was in high school there were games my school played against a couple of Vancouver school teams and the games were held there (after the Lions had moved to BC Place).

The old grandstand was demolished some time ago but now they have re-built it.

It sure does, even for a transplanted Rider fan like me. But I do have one question. How come I always got seated behind those freakin posts?

Football was meant to be played outdoors in the elements and to further this philosophy, BC Place should be obliged to leave the roof open for all football games.
