The Lions had one Hell of a good game tonight winning 37-17 with Lulay going 18-20 in the 1st half and 27-34 for the game. Running back Andrew Harris, who scored 2 TDs and had 5 completions for 53 yards and ran the ball for 63 yards made CFL history, becoming the league's all-time leader in yards from scrimmage by a Canadian. Following last weeks win the Lions have secured a playoff spot and if Winnipeg manages to beat Calgary tomorrow the Lions will be guaranteed a home playoff game.

Nothing, not even Lulay on the sidelines, seems to stop the Lions. Reilly was outstanding for his first go at pivot. He threw for 278 yards - Travis averages 276 per game - not bad for a back-up. Glad to see a Canadian kid - Andrew Harris - hit the record books rushing for over 1000 yards. Fellow Canadian Jon Cornish had hit his mark earlier in the season and the two became the first Canadians to do so in the same season in over 56 years - no small accomplishment - kudos to both.

It was a great night for the CFL, Hyack though I was hoping that Rickie Rays return and that of Chad Kackert might have more of an impact than it did.

The Lions defeat the Roughriders 17-6 in the last game of the regular season, while earlier the Blue Bombers defeated the Alouettes 19-11 in the last game to be played in the old Winnipeg stadium.
In the Western semi finals on Nov 11 Saskatchewan will play in Calgary, the winner to face the BC Lions while the Eastern semi final game sees Edmonton crossing over to play Toronto, the winner going on to play Montreal on Nov 18.
The Grey Cup will be played in Toronto on Nov 25th, making it the 100th Grey Cup game to be played.
