Me, anything but Harper. Going to find out who has the best chance of beating the PC's in my riding and vote for them.

Isn't there already an election poll going?

Didn't see it. Only looked through the first two pages though.

NDP, of course. If I lived in a riding where the CONS were a threat, I'd vote strategically for whoever had the best chance of beating them.

I think if people start voting for the party that is most likely to beat the reigning party instead of for the party they actually would like to see in power, we will end up with a two party system. As the votes of each election show less and less support for the lesser parties, people (other than the hardliners) will see less and less reason to back them and the lack of support will continue downwards until most people wouldn't even consider them as an option.

Except for the NDP have been growing the last two elections, Chumley. They are also the only party to beat a Conservative incumbent in the last election (two, actually)and have the best shot at beating several Conservatives this time around.
There is nothing undemocratic about strategic voting either. Voting against someone is just as valid as voting for, especially given the political situation today and the stupidity of our first past the post system.
If you are voting strategically though, follow the race in your riding, not the national race. If you live in Regina-Qu'Appelle, for instance, and you vote Liberal because Dion is ahead of Layton in the polls, you will have wasted your vote because only the NDP have a chance of beating a Conservative there. Check to see who has the best shot in your riding.

this poll is flawed, considering it said 'PC' and not Conservative.

I'm just pissed the Rhino's didn't get official party status for this election call. I know I'd be voting for them this time around. Even if they dug up a few of their dead candidates and put one up against the current "leaders" of the other parties, we'd be better off.
What a bunch of winners we have vying for control of our country. Not one of them is worth a pinch of coon shit, not one. It's a sad time in Canada's history looking at what poor excuses for "leaders" we have.
I say we all add a voting box to our ballots and vote for Mr. Dressup!!!!

I'm going to write in Bret "The Hitman" Hart.
If Jesse Ventura and Arnold can get elected in the US then surely Bret has a shot up here!
