Delwin Delwin:
Hey Harper!!! Wake the fuck up!!! The election is over!!!

Ah Delwin, silly boy. You didn't think we'd let you off the hook just because we've seized the reigns of power did you?

Why, showing you guys mercy now would be akin to Wellington not unleashing the cavalary on the fleeing French Infantry as they were routed at Waterloo!

As long as we don't go totally over the top and do something petty and unethical, like, say accuse a former PC PM of an Airbus Scandal, only to end up having it thrown out and then get sued, then I think we're on solid ground. I mean that hypothetically by the way. I would never accuse a former Liberal PM who spoke like a retard of doing something THAT vindictive!

It wears off after a while... Piling on is a penalty in football and politics," he said yesterday.

Ahh, but running-up the score is a time-honoured tradition when the outcome has already been decided in your favour.

Harper may expose Liberals' skeletons

Looks like Harper has come to the realization that he has no clue how to run a country, he does however, have a lot of experience in trying to trash people.

Hey Harper!!! Wake the fuck up!!! The election is over!!!

Ohh, I see. And Paul Martin, with his vast Paliamentary expeience knew how to run the country? For Chrissakes, he couldn't even run his own party anywhere but into the ground. He tried to trash the CPC with innuendo and lies, and what it did it get the Liberals,... aside from a new seating order on the opposite side of the hall.

He took a party that had an unassailable position in Parliament and split it into rival factions to satisfy his lust for power. He seized the reigns, and within 18 months had reduced 12 years of Liberal majority into an ever-declining minority. Two more elections under Paul Martin's guidance, and the Liberals would've been arguing with the dippers and the greeniks over who had to sit at the VERY back. Some leadership.

I had to laugh on election night when John Manley described Paul Martin's resignation as 'gracious'. This is a man who has perfected the art of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. If he hadn't immediately resigned, the Liberal faithfull would probably have hung him out to dry,... if they didn't hang him from the nearest lamppost first.

GRACIOUS,... MY ASS!

Hey Losers, it was a two-man race and you finished second. Only a Liberal could try to spin that into an illusion of victory. Get Over it!

If you think Martin was a disaster for the Libs, wait till you see what Belinda is capable of doing to it!

The cover of Led Zeppelin's first album comes to mind!

Here's my two bits. There needed to be a change, the Liberals had been in power too long. The only viable options were between the Conservatives and the NDP. Well, Jack Layton and the NDP would probably do a pretty good job, Jacko is probably the most skilled politian on Parliament Hill. However, people decided that the NDP was a bit too left of centre for their liking and voted for Conservative candidates. All I can say is I doubt Harper can fuck the country over any harder than the Liberals did (I am usually a Liberal supporter, but they've pissed me off). Let's let Harper have his 15 minutes and if he can't do the job, maybe Jack can try his hand at it. More than likely though, the Liberals will come back to power. Bottom line, don't worry about it, it's not like Harper eats Jewish babies for breakfast. That's just scare tactics. It's time for everyone to calm down, sit back, and see what happens. Who knows, maybe he'll surprise you.

That post is one of the most well reasoned and non partisan things I've read around here for awhile.

Although, I've thought Jack Layton was a goof ever since I started watching him on Toronto City Council, I will admit that he believes in his cause. I respect that, even if I disagree with virtually everything he says.
