Probably because people refused to see the warning signs about him and voted for him because of his name and/or looks. The only morons who will vote for him again this year are those who also think like he does, that what the un-elected body called the UN wants is more important than Canada's needs.

Then there's things like, "When the economy is doing well, budgets balance themselves". Well, according to the govt reports. our economy is supposedly humming along on all 8. Yet not only has the budget NOT balanced itself, we are heading into multi-year multi-billion dollar deficits that won't see a return to balance until at least 2040 now.

"We will grow the economy from the heart, outward." Wtf does that even mean? It means nothing. It's an empty, meaningless platitude that the ALT-left ate up like it was intellectual manna.

"I will fight against the politics of division where ever I see it". Says the goof who thinks anyone who opposes his idiotic policies is engaging in the politics of division.

Trudeau and his party of in-breds have repeatedly insulted Canadians, often times a majority of them. And yet that female reporter groping idiot has had the nerve to cast aspersions on Canadians who have insulted him or those in his party.

Then there's his "feminism". Anyone who still thinks Trudeau is a feminist must truly have their heads lodged firmly up their rectums. With Trudeau's insistence on crap like social licence and social contracts for pipelines (or pretty much any project these days) during the Harper years, and his complete ham-fisted handling of the energy sector, it's quite likely that Canada's oil industry will never recover. Of course it didn't help that the ALT-left dregs in this country fully bought into the Russian, Saudi and Soros smear campaigns against our oil.

He has completely embarrassed the country on more than one occasion. His trip to India was international fodder.
His "mansplaining" to a woman that we don't use the term "mankind" in Canada, we say "poeplekind" led to one of the best international comments about him. A woman from England remarked, "That is one woke mimbo."

There’s no real analysis here of the last election either. Granted, Harper had been in too long but Trudeau outflanked him on the deficit trap and outlasted him in a campaign made longer by Harper himself. I can safely assume that serious Tory strategists are not putting JT’s success all down to family ties, hair and eyebrow make-up. Scheer is not exactly the polar opposite of Trudeau so something more is going on.
