This topic was split from the "McCain-Palin Rallies: "Terrorist!" "Kill Him!"" topic.

And in case you might have forgotten, and all pretense of neutrality be damned, CKA is another bastion of Stephen Harper = BushCoHitlerInc. I'm just wondering why our fearless forum administration hasn't posted a list of anti-Liberal/anti-Green/anti-NDP websites the same way he did anti-Conservative websites the other day. I mean, I actually do know the answer but I'm just wondering why no one else bothered to notice the obvious for themselves.

You're right, but then all the CPC supporters here post about a dozen anti-Liberal/NDP topics a day so it balances out no?

Tad different when the players do underhanded or stupid things and when the administration/referee does them.

I assumed it's because he's a card carrying Liberal supporter.

I agree though - I thought it was an odd topic for the admin to post.

Not if you consider how the mods swing.

I am not allowed to submit content to my own site? Anyone is more than welcome to start a topic listing other "anti" sites, I was actually expecting it and surprised no one has. All the content areas of the site are open for anyone to submit content too. It is one of my top concerns to not let my personal bias affect how I run and moderate this site, but that doens't mean i'm not allowed to participate.

I don't go and plaster Liberal logos all over the site. I give equal opportunity for all political strips in the different areas of the site. I don't censor or delete the purly partisan anti-liberal or pro-conservative threads many of you post. It sometimes takes a great deal of restraint :P

Sure I submit content to the site all the time, and sometimes its pro a certain political view, but I do so as a USER and it has no special benefit over someone else submitting something, which they freely can.

It is funny how some of you think the mods swing left and some of you think they swing right. Well that just a sign that they are in the middle to me. I would have to say that most the mods on CKA are probably actually right of center politicaly.

If you think me or the mods do a bad job of staying neutral, try visiting one of the other large Canadian forums like rabble or Freedominion which are very partisan and one sided.

It has always been the #1 goal for these forums to be non-partisan or maybe multi-partisan is a better term. There are already forums for the left and right to give each other pats on the back, CKA is meant to be the place where they but heads.

I think the mod's are doing a good job on the restraint part during this election as temper's get hot.I'm glad to see no one has been banned yet allthough we all know there's a few questionable posts on here since the election started.

when the election's over and the supporters of the loseing parties start having head explosions then I can see some banning's happening.

There have been some temp bans, Hwacker and streaker off the top of the head, but there bans are both over I think.

I split all the posts about this away from the McCain-Palin Rallies topic, so that discussion can continue.

Trev, come on! Of course you can't! You aren't even allowed to have an opinion! Everybody else can, but you dont! [/sarcasm]

*tries to dig up some anti-liberal, anti-socialist or completely anti-politics links, but figures its best to join RUEZ... [B-o] [B-o] *

Only 5 more days till the aftermath!

I didn't read that thread but I think the owner is pretty damned fair. I don't like his Liberal support but he posts as a member, not as a vindictive god like on so many other sites (Rev's for example).

Canadaka owns the damn site. To me that means he can post what he pleases. If he was censoring others for their points of view, I'd be out of here, but he shouldn't be denied an opinion by virtue of being a site adminstrator.

Objectively, you have to admit this site is pretty balanced.

Precisely, and it's laughable that such an issue would be raised in the first place.

Oh dear, the administrator has demonstrated a personal opinion at the expense of none of the members, what ever will we do?
