Sauve has said he hired Tory-connected businessman Gilles Varin to help get the deal, eventually paying him $140,000. LM Sauve went bankrupt a year later and lost the contract. The RCMP is now investigating the matter.

No Conservative MP was implicated as being involved in any wrongdoing. RCMP are/were investigating a lobbyist by the name of Gilles Varin (mentioned in your article), who has a record of questionable behaviour.

Reminds me of the time Harper claimed that Mulroney was not a member of the party, and the photo appeared later of him and his membership card.

Ta da ta da...it's Hyperbole Man

If it's found that there was enough actual interference to change the outcome of the election, then an election needs to be called and the electorate need to determine if a new government needs to take the helm. Senators that have been appointed since the last election should be removed....Controversial laws and legislation, where there was a close vote also need to be reexamined. Looks like Capt. Harper wasn't at the helm and the Costa Conservative has run aground.
