So next election how what party will govern us an at minority or majority count?

This is not about your partisan feelings, but what you honestly think will happen.

I believe we will get a Tory Majority.

Too early to tell.

We probably won't have an election until 2008.

Liberal minority...likely smaller than the minority Harper has now.

Conservative minority.

Canada is destined to become the next Italy of the 1960's, where governments lasted days, not years and were changed more often than an Italian Gigalo's underwear. [titanic]

Bloc vote collapses.

Dumont supports Tories.

Harper wins majority.

Interesting analysis Toro.

I do know the Bloc Quebecois is a very precocious position as most Quebecers are falling out of the Separatist movement - temporarily at least.

The ADQ win as the opposition was a good sign that Quebecers are ready for a dozen or so years of being together with Canada.

The ADQ is sort of like Quebec's default Conservative party.

But I do know Harper will bomb in the Maritimes as they go NDP + Liberal.

And Saskatchewan too.

Its up in the air.

But I think a Majority is in sight

The NDP have won, what, one seat in Saskatchewan the past two elections?

I wouldn't worry too, too much about them.

Based on things now I have my doubts the Tories will even be in office. I could see a liberal minority possibly sneaking by them. If not then there will be another minority for the Conservative Party. Also by the time there is another election I will be in Alberta so not sure who I'm going to vote for there.

Yeah I hope the rebelling Saskatchewan, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia go orange and not red.

Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan are likely to go more NDP. And Newfoundland will probably go red solid.

Gains in BC, Ontario, and Quebec will do it though.

Boisclair is gone, and already the ADQ has started to look like a bunch of rank amateurs (which they are).

Bloc support is very unlikely to collapse.

That being said, it's looking very close between the Libs and the Cons. I can't see either of them winning a majority.

ADQ is green and won't hold power. Bloc are in disarray and Liberals look to be in good position and have the leadership to exploit it.

Majority is possible for Harper but not something to bet on. A minority looks to be the best bet with it going either lib/con.

Atlantic accord has all but sunk any chance of Tory seats east of Montreal. As NDP can not take opposition the maritimes will once again vote grits.

NDP has a strong position in Sask and will likely hold fast. Alberta will go all tory again.

BC and Ont will be the wildcards and its there the election will be won.

The latest polls in Nova Scotia show the NDP in the lead, god help us. The Liberals don't seem to have any support here anymore, even life long liberals don't like Dion and are switching there support (Provincially) to the Conservative Party. Well until Even Steven decided to rip my province and it's people to shreds in the media by mocking and making fun of us. Who knows what will happen now.

Another: Too early to tell vote.

I don't think the current Leaders inspire enough confidence to form a Majority, So I'm thinking another Minority. The question is: Will Harper get another Minority or will Dion be given the chance?

I think the Liberals have the best chance at a Majority, but only if they replace Dion with someone else. It will all depend on the issues dominating the Public Mind of the time the election gets called though.

Liberal Minority.

I think that'd be best... Liberal, but not too Liberal...

Nicely Central.

Switching between Minority governments for awhile would be fine by me. Hell, let's see the NDP get in there.

So Canada won't be completely Con ruled or Lib ruled.
