I was thinking how good it would be if the 70s had called, and whoever was the Minister in Charge rang up PetroCanada and told them, "you know that 15c a litre gas gouge? Don't do it. Raise it a nickel!"
Then even Albertans would rush to PetroCan to fill up and save a dime a litre. And the other dicks would have to drop their prices to respond.
If the Minister if he was a Tory he wouldn't make the call.
If he was a Lib could pay down the debt with the money raked in during the difference in prices, and from the nickel he gouged over the long run.
Best of all, if he was a minority Liberal with 49 NDPs propping his ass up, they'd drop the other nickel too as an encore and make sure the whole country knew they did it. And it would be the Liberals would make sure they did it in 2 steps to maximize revenue and publicity, the NDP couldn't figure that out for the life of them....
