I can tell you are doing that whole sarcastic thing, seriously. If you want to understand why people separatist bash, and quebec bash. Go look at what a lot of Quebecers say, expecially the Separatist ones.

That whole "Were superior" attitude that goes on there doesn't help your case either.

All quebec separatists do is try and separate quebec from Canada. With a pretty big percent of followers, not the majority apparently but the percent is pretty close.

Quebec is Canadian, and the fact a large percent of Quebecers want to turn there heads and separate Quebec for reasons they don't even know why they are doing it.

I have asked many Quebec Separatists why they wanted to separate from Canada, and even gave examples of the differences between Quebec and other Canadian provinces how it get's much better benefits than other provinces. Infact, everything you ask get's done. You pretty much make your own laws, and it's granted and binded. Quebec has a large percent of french speaking residents, what more could you want?

When I asked them why they wanted to, they diddn't even have one answer to it. They don't even know why they want to separate which boils my blood even more because I can only assume it's a anti-english thing because why else would they do it unless they had a other valid reason for it?

The complete arrogance, and ignorance that comes out of these people every year just pisses me off and a lot of Canadian's. The fact that every single time these people lose, they keep coming back and bitching and continueing pissing off Canada.

Being in Ontario, I get to witness this bullshit more than other provinces. Infact just this winter, most of the winter tires from Ontario were shipped to Quebec because of there recent law that requires everybody in Quebec to have them.

They passed this law without warning to the tire makers, so this winter most Ontario residents will not be getting Snow Tires this year, which will probally cause a lot of car related accidents and deaths.

Take off your Quebec slippers, and put on Ontario slippers, or just Canadian ones in general and take a look at Quebecers for more than a year. You too would be pissed off, and ready to burn your own quebec flag.

For the sake of Quebec being Canadian, I don't Quebec bash as much as I like. Only when I cannot control my anger for Quebec.

I do not hate Quebecers as a whole, but there are a lot of them that I do hate. If you got something against that, than that's your deal. Nothing is going to make me stop hating them unti'll the day they drop there french and Quebec patriotism, and start contributing to Canada and Canadian's as a whole. Stop with this separatist shit and stop with there superior french attitude than I will drop the anti-quebec attitude.

I have lived in Ab. for all but a few years of my life. Most recently, the last twenty three years, and this is the FIRST I have heard about us wanting to join the United States of America! If ANY PROVINCE could 'stand alone' though, I'm sure it would be us!

I think the Alberta seperation party is for it but they are very fringe,more profitable to have the USA as friends and tradeing partners then to join them.

At the airport, they will renounce their Canadian citizenship, and NOT be allowed to return under any circumstances!
Do away with provincial borders. Borders, as has been proven, only serve to divide the peoples of the country. ie; 'Them against us', 'We are better than you, East against West, ad nauseum! All regional monies would be put into one account and equally divided. ALL peoples would be treated equally. No 'special status' for any group of people for any reason. Only then could we ALL be considered 'Canadians'. As it is right now we are just a series of groups of people based on heritage, or ethnicity, or region,or... it goes on and on. We can't even get our own shit together yet we are sending people all over the world to teach them how to get THEIR shit together!

I prefer our Canadian mosaic way to your American style melting pot. I think our differences make Canada as a whole a more interesting place and permit people to be themselves. I don't see any point to pretending we are all the same, we're not. I can learn as much from an Albertan than from a Maritimer and I believe that our diversity enriches us as a country. Our country is so large and our regions are different, so I don't see any point in pretending that they're not. All the better! And we ARE all Canadians.
