Actually if you have an IQ of 60, your mentally retarded. So your allegation makes no sense. No, it makes total sense. Not only are you a racist, but you are saying you don't need more then 60 point on your IQ to join the army. So your saying they are all stupid. lol Way to be asshat. No, your just to stupid to join that all. Very poor choice of words when you can't even write out the sentence in proper English What language would you like it in?
English is fine Donny, for the record, I am not one who resorts to keyboard errors to make a point, however it was hard not to mention it, given what your comments were to the young lad.

Fair enough.
He must have went to get his pamper changed. I will try to avoid corrupting the poor lad further with bad grammar or spelling.

Donny, Tell us about life on the rez. Tell us about Native self Government. Tell us about the reserves gushing in Oil Money that spend millions on golf courses and rodeo arenas while letting most of their residents wallow in delapitated housing. Tell us about Band Counsel members that give all the reserve jobs to their family and freinds, and those on the outside live in poverty. I submit to you that it is mainly these privlaged natives playing up the race issue to keep those poored natives distracted from the fact that they are getting screwed by their own.

Well depending on what reserve you are on, reserve life is very depressing. Generally you are isolated form the outside world, sometimes you can go to a small town school but normally you go to the reserve school.
You grow up in a system of poverty usually. But the shitty thing is, when you try to get out, you miss your family and friends back at home. Moving from the reserve to the city is hard. People in the city are rude, they don’t care about other people, especially Indians.
So its kind of ironic, but its very common for us to miss the reserve. When things get tough its easy to go home. People love you there. Its quiet.
We don’t have oil money. A few reserves in Alberta get oil money. A big chunk when you turn 18, like 20-30 K or more. Then an annual dividend just like a shareholder in a company. Its like a family business. Most of these folks blow it fast. They have no ability to plan, save or build themselves up. They were raised mostly poor with no hope other then what they see on MTV or 90210.
We have a good band council, these people are elected every 3 years. The reserve is fairly small, so these people need to hire folks they can trust. Normally they trust their family and friends the most. It is common for the chief and council to purge the office after an election to ensure work will get done and they will feel safe. But they got a lot of work to do. Everything from the school to social services to the roads and the infrastructure.
Its sort of like a city council except they have to be the civic, provincial and federal government all in one. Our reserve is one of the most accountable in the whole country. We are forced to fill out all sorts of forms and information and submit it to the federal government saying how we are spending our money. We employ 3 people just to get this done. It’s a great make work project but this money is money that’s supposed to go to other things like economic development or road work.

Overall, a good post Donnie, though as someone from a small town, I will say that rudeness in the big city is not just directed at Natives.

There are hundreds of Aboriginal reserves in Canada, maybe two or three are oil-rich.....

They did a whole program on it with Dave Rutherford. Some did get 250 grand and by the time some were eligible they had half of it owed to drug dealers and are targeted with this in mind by the gangs.
The tsu tsina(pardon the spelling) near Calgary also is getting good gas revenues but are useing it in a different way(casino) and actually putting natives to work with the coin.
Brockets a different story,if they get any money you would never know it by the state the reserve is in. That's one stretch of road that you dont want to break down on.
