Ruserious Ruserious:
And the cons think that the Star is biased?
At least they allow for discenting viewpoints to be printed in their paper.

Travers is entitled to his opinion.

The Star is most definately biased. So is the Post. But the Post still provides some balance by employeeing a couple of columnists with a Liberal slant.

The Post has Adam Radwanski (son of long time Liberal Party member, former editor of the Toronto Star and disgraced Privacy Commissioner, George Radwanski). They also until recently, employed Scott Feschuk, who is now the cheif speechwriter for one Right Honourable Paul Martin.

Name a Conservative Writer in the Star, other than Rondi Adamson, who appears as a counterpoint to the column by extreme left wing writer Linda Mcquaig in the Sunday edition?

Travers and Hebert don't count. They are excellent, well balanced writers, but they could hardly be considered "Conservatives."
Travers and Hebert are conservatives, maybe not as far right as the neo-cons currently in charge of the cons but they're more right than left.

The fact that you try and say that they don't count is proof enough of their allegiance.

The post is a 3rd rate rag that's never going to amount to anything more than a mouthpiece for the right wing.

Good thing there is no bias in the media.

The Globe and Mail carried a similar story today. They also endorsed the Conservatives.

$1:
Mayby he dosn't want a few extemists to fuck things up. I mean doesn't Martin make sure that his candidates that voted agaisnt ssm are muzzled?

It isn't a few extremists, the Conservative Party is full of them.

Martin has done a really bad job of muzzling his candidates. I can't remember a Liberal campaign this bad.

It's not just the SSM marriage crowd or even the muzzling, Martin hasn't even managed to produce a real spin campaign to control things within his own party. Think about Ignatief and the controversy around him. In usual Liberal campaign there would have been no public controversy. Maybe some rumours, but certainly not national headlines.

$1:
FYI, the campaign ends on Monday night dipshit.

That's true, and timing is important. I don't think the Liberals are pulling one out of the hat this time though. The Conservatives can throw it away, but the Liberals can't save it.

If this is so, then why did I just watch him give an interview with the press on his plane and that was the first question they asked? The press as per their norm got it wrong. They felt slighted and god knows you are not allowed to slight the press.

So, because they take a middle of the road, objective approach, and don't slavishly devote their columns to Paul Martin, they are conservatives?

You guys think anyone who disagrees with you is a "conservative." That's why you're going down. You've gone totally paranoid.

Reporter: "Paul Martin's campaign has been poorly run."

Ruserious: "Who gives a fuck what some neo-con, George Bush loving, American Style Albertan reporter says!"

Reporter: I'm from La Presse!

Ruserious: Well you're all a bunch of separatistes. Hail Kim Jong Il, Dear Leader...I mean, Paul Martin!

Third rate? Not quite. In fact, it's owned by the Aspers, who, until a few weeks ago were strong Liberal supporters. But the fact they've come out against your incompetent PM would make them George Bush Loving, Hard Right Christians wouldn't it?

Probably out campaigning and not hiding from the media like 3/4 of the nutjobs you've got running the cons.

But since you don't have anything to back that claim up.. let me help you.
Tom Wappell was heard on CFRB last night during their all candidates riding segment.

Where's that wacko Rondo.. did he make it back from his funeral yet or is he still in hiding?
