Why even bother voting when it seems that NO ONE has Canada's best interest at heart?
Everything that is going on now with this so called "Coalition" government is a simple powerplay to undermine the people.
The people. That would be us.

Mr.Layton. A so called man of the people poking us in the eye not caring who he tramples to score a "moral" victory against the conversatives.
It seems thats ALL he thinks about. How to TOPPLE the existing government. To me that seems like an Anarchist. What will he do when he gets there? I'm sure he doesn't even know.
Hand outs? Perhaps.
Throwing money at the problem always seems like a good solution, but not always.

The Bloc being part of this Coalition should leave a bitter taste in everyones mouth. A party who's sole purpose is to benefit Quebec. Wow. WE really want you being a decision maker for our country.
Selfish.

Dion? His own party doesn't even want him so why do we?
Get Trudeau's son in and maybe we have a winner.

I'll be honest, I have no love for Harper, but in troubled times of economic turmoil we need decisive action without any blubbing.
WE need someone that will make the tough calls without having to WORRY about his government failing HIM.
Thats exactly what we have here. The government FAILING our current PM.
He cant do anything without one of these power hungry miscreants throwing up his arms and calling no confidence.
OF COURSE you're calling no confidence. YOU want his job. DUH!

This is nothing but a PLOT that has been birthing for sometime and is WRONG.

Anyone who thinks that this Coalition of Opposite thinking will get ANYTHING done needs their head examined.

Enough is Enough.
I'm sick and tired of people playing with our lives like we're an open piggy bank.

We need strength and unity in an uncertain time.
From what I can see we have neither. We haven't for a very long time.

Perhaps Harper should have consulted you before he threw a bone to the Opposition to(finally) threaten "No Confidence". I lost track on how many times the Conservatives tried to get the Opposition to Vote "No Confidence" this last year. On this Message Board there were constant posts tryint to convince Liberal/NDP Supporters here that their Party should Vote that way. Then they were ridiculed when they did not Vote that way.

Now Harper does it again and the Opposition bites. Sorry, Harper made this mess.

Its been stated that this was in the works before his latest "decisions" that caused such turmoil within the parties.

Its simple plotting for plotting sake.

Plus we're looking at a unique time around the world due to the economy. Our dollar is SUFFERING because of all this crap going on.
People/investors aren't confident with Canada. Hell, neither am I.

Don't confuse a power grab with helping weather the economic crisis. This has nothing to do with the economy and everything to do with the blatent thirst for power.

The coalition of the damned has decided that the people of Canada and who they elected means nothing and they should rule whether we like it or not.

I guess it just follows the Liberal "Right to Rule" philosophy and they are so blatnetly corrupt that they'll sleep with devil to get what they consider to be their proper place in the heiarchy of Canadian society.

I say good on them. When this whole bullshit mess they, the little commie freak and the separtist traitor, created comes crashing down around their fucking ears, it'll spell the end of the Liberal Party of Canada as we know it.

Good riddence to them, since they've proven to be a pestilance on Canada's democratic principals.

The only negative about this whole scenario is that before they self destruct they'll likely drive the Canadian economy so far down the toilet that the Roto Roter man won't be able to find it.

Dont know why everyone is going on about the Bloc.. at one time they were the official opposition. The bloc has every much right to be part of the coalition agreement. after all they represent the people of the great nation of Quebec !

I agree, nobody should object to the Bloc being in the coalition since their motives are quite clear.

They could care less about the power in Ottawa and only want to separate at whatever the cost to Canada as a whole, which has been their agenda since day 1.

Now the other two parties are completely different. This is the only way they can ever get Cretin's heir apparent as the "Man Who Would Be King" to become PM and this is as close as Vladamire Lenin's devout follower, Comrade Jack, will ever get to a cabinet position, even if he licks the anus' of the entire Liberal Party at noon on Capital Hill.
