Anyone else disappointed with their riding results?

I was hoping Don Graves for the conservatives to take mine but Chris Charlton for the NDP (my second choice although VERY VERY distant second) won it.

Anyone else think their new MP sucks?

Yes, my Conservative candidate only won by about 7000 votes. This is far below the Alberta average of 13000. Unacceptable! Damn Redmonton!

Liked the results here, our incumbent Conservative MP won for the third straight time and took about 55% of the vote in doing it.

I'm annoyed that I have Olivia Chow representing me now.

There's someone who ran on a pure ego stroke, and I expect her to do SFA for the residents of the area.

I wasn't that keen on voting for Chow either but to be fair she has been a relatively active councillor. You're spot on about the ego though, there's no way she'd settle for being a councillor while hubby is an MP

I got Bill Blaikie again, which is excellent. The Conservative candidate, Linda West, seemed very prove to dirty tricks. I'm not even sure the Liberal candidate had signs.

I'm disappointed that Niki Ashton didn't win Churchill, but Bev Desjarlais ran as an independent and split the vote. Tina Keeper (Liberal) won up there.

That smirking Conservative prick, Andrew Scheer won Regina-Quappelle, which also disappoints me. He's done less than nothing for the beef and grain farmers in his riding and has been basically a negative influence as a representative.

I don't know about the rest but trust me, if it was Peter Goldring or Ken Epp you damn luck to have such a solid MP.

I'm dissapointed with my MP, we've had the same Liberal candidate for the past 11 years and she had done so much for our city, sad to see her lose to a young, hidden agended lawyer. But I guess she had to go if Martin was going down.

I'm very happy with my Conservative MP. He won by a landslide with well over 20,000 votes ahead of the other 3 candidates! I'm disappointed that the Cons only received a minority government. Hope they do well!
