You have the right but I disagree that it is the best decision. Furthermore, there is only one nation here and that is Canada and as for the land, well explain to me how you can "own" land when a reserve does not acknowledge property rights?

I agree with your sentiment but disagree with your assessment. Healing can never happen so long as chiefs and white lieberals perpetuate a self-serving system that enslaves natives as wards of the State and rewards the perpetrators. As for a heritage, most natives only have a heritage as defined by society. Ie, the dreamcatcher that so many are fond of was a prop created by an American writer in the mid-1800s while he was writing cowboy/Indian novels. However, many natives earnestly believe it is part of their ‘culture’
