I am asking this seiously. Regardless if you support the Cons, NDP, Bloc, Green or Libs, can you honestly see the Libs taking a riding from an MP of another party? I can see NDP, Cons, and Bloc taking Liberal seats. I can't see it the other way around. Can anyone here?

They might get a seat or two in Quebec they did not have before due to vote spliting, and god knows what will happen in Ontario with vote splitting. Monday night promises to be pretty entertaining.

They might pick up a couple in BC, but they'll lose more.

They can only lose votes in Quebec from vote splitting.

Anything is possible between other places, accept Alberta. They might pick up seats in the maritimes...or NDP might, who knows....

It will definately be interesting though, anyone who says they know what is gonna happen is full of it....

Quebec is anybody's guess. I think the Tories are poised to win a few seats there, which wasn't even considered a possibility a month ago.

Based on your arrogant, Ontario-Quebec centric posts in the past, it must kill you to know that Alberta is going to be setting the national agenda over the next couple of years eh?

I agree there. Although, I think it's a foregone conclusion the Tories will be the government on the 23rd. It's just a question of how big they'll be.

Regardless of what party they are in the vast majority of MPs will be from Ontario and Quebec.......

The leadership may be from Alberta, but if he comes up with anything that the Ontario Conservatives don't like the party can always implode, it has some practice doing that...

my guess would be no

if the libs were going to take any additional non-lib ridings, martin would not be doing his tour of the gta and horseshoe region.

He's basically trying to stem the tide

I don't know if Newmarket - Aurora could be counted as Liberal or Conservative...but it's pretty close right now.
