Begins Sunday night this weekend, October 14, this year as opposed to Halloween weekend with the prior seasons.

Also, the episode count this year has been upped to sixteen as opposed to last years' mere twelve.

Plus, the return of Merle, everyone's favourite ultra-violent good ol' boy meth-head! wOOt! [cheer]

Man, I've tried watching this show but after 10 mins into every episode I loose interest. Zombie and Vampire overdose everywhere nowadays.

They've turned into a well-trained S&D killing crew. No namby-pambying allowed anymore. The new Ricktatorship tolerates no more dissension in the ranks. Neat bit of sickness when that guard/zombie's face peeled off when the gas mask came off. Kind of neat too, in maybe a bit of a shout-out to the end scenes of Shaun Of The Dead, how Andrea and Michonne are using the two "tame" armless/toothless zombies as packhorses to carry their stuff.

Next two weeks, just as in real life, things get more interesting with condemned hardcore prisoners!

Watched it and thought it was decent, good to see there are no more useless members in the group..but some things still baffle me, like why some still wear short sleves and tank-tops when going to fight zombies hand-to-hand, knowing full well that a bite or scratch will do them in. In season 1 and 2, I couldnt understand how they just walked past abandoned military vehicles and dead troops at CDC without picking up an arsenal of weapons and ammo. They seem better armed this season, with at least one semi-auto rifle in the groul so they must've gotten wise in the off-season.

Good premiere. I think more happened in that first episode than than in the whole first half of the second season.

Plus it's also good to see Rick's grown some balls, though Lori is still as annoying as ever.

One can only hope since she appears to be pretty much the last annoying self centered twit left on planet earth. But it'd be to obvious if it did happen.

If they go with that premise we should just watch Dawn of the Dead again and skip the Walking Dead because it'll definately mean their writer will have run out of new ideas.

torrents...you'll only be a few hours behind everyone else. EZTV is great for all the current TV series you want to DL. Doesn't do movies unless they are made for TV.

I was wondering the same thing, but then I remember that they were just civilians, and only a few could shoot, could you imagine Season 1 Carl with an M16? that'd be scary as hell.
