What are some movies you'd recommend and what are some stinkers to stay away from:

Splice(SF/Horror)....Biohazard level 4. Don't even bother downloading it, as it sucks that bad.

The A-Team(Action).........go if you want to be entertained. It really is a pretty good remake.

Toy Story 3(Animated)....Took my 6 yr. old to see it. He stood up and applauded, but then again he does the same when Sponge Bob comes on. Not bad, as we saw it on the IMAX screen in 3D. I noticed there were several adults sans children there.

I'm going to try and see the new Solomon Kane movie, as I'm a Howard fan. Unfortunately none of his other characters translated well into film(Conan and Kull)

Karate Kid (Sport action with Jaden Smith & Jackie Chan)... I saw it cause I have always been a fan of Jackie Chan. I give it an 7.5 out of 10.

Toy Story 3 was awesome. I have a 7 y.o. boy and a 5 y.o. gilr--they both loved it. I was feeling a little verklempt at the end.

I thought the A-Team was great fun, but I also loved the TV show

Karate Kid I got bored and quit watching. Same thing happened with Jonah Hex.

I'd never heard of Solomon Kane but I liked the movie.

I liked Night and Day too, she was funny and it seemed like Tom didn't have that stick up his butt anymore.

Toy Story 8.5/10 Best movie Ive seen this year... so far.

Shutter Island 3/10 WAYYYY to predicable.

Despicable Me 7/10 a lot of fun if you dont see it in threaters you should check it out when it gets to blu ray.

Solomon Kane(Fantasy/Horror/Action)....Once again, another of Howard's characters fails miserably to make the translation to the screen. If you're a fan of Howards, rent it if Blockbuster is out of ......everything else.

The Last Airbender: every single review of the show has been extremely bad to the point it had 8% on some sites, it breaks away from the cartoon drastically. It's reviews are bad enough that I am not even going to waste the time watching it for free when it shows on satellite, coming from me this says a lot.

One of the 'joys' of having an infant is that you never get to the theatre!

No, I wish we could get out and watch movies like we used to, but with an infant, it's too difficult, so we'll have to this summers movies when they come out in the fall.

Death Race - AWESOME.
Eclipse - If you like the lovey dovey stuff its for you.
Knight and Day - Cute
Grown Ups - Loved it...I could relate

Socerers Apprentice (Fantasy)

The story was alright but you could tell they had some editing issues. It looks like they went into post fixed a few things but never really bothered to shoot except for some ADR. It was entertaining but is on the same level as other teen Disney movies, if you liked the sequals to the Pirates of a Carribean you will like this movie.

Inception was fantastic, Salt was pretty good and Knight & Day was kind of like a funny Mission Impossible movie.

I really want to see The Expendables next week but will probably have to wait. I'd also like to see Predators sometime.
