"Stand Up for Kandahar"

In early December 2006, CBC TV traveled to Afghanistan to produce a comedy show. The CF provided airlift, and accommodations, as well as giving access to the production team and comedians to film at Kandahar Airfield (KAF). This show, entitled "Stand Up for Kandahar" will air on March 14th at 2100 hrs (AST) on CBC TV.

I had the good old VCR I have a PVR thru eastlink. They loaned it to me if I switched from expressVu. I will have to give it back if I leave them. They were supposed to take my receiver in exchange but they forgot. In the mean time, I lented my Receiver to my brother.

Yeah he did. Watching everybody get up to leave the tent I was expecting him to say " we'll be right back after these messages " and when he said missle....I laughed my ass off. Then talked about it outside like it was some sports team. Too funny. I enjoyed the show very much, and good for them for making the trip. Did you watch RIck Mercer when he was there? Gotta love it.
