The movie looks bllody stupid. The only highlight of the flick will be the Charger. That and Jessica Simpson in short shorts.

I always liked to see the Charger kicking up dust and flying through the air...looks like fun!
but i agree that the movie looks too stupid to sit through...

Of course its stupid, its a comedy and a remake.

I thought the series was awesome when I was a kid. I saw it not to long ago on CMT. I watched a couple of episodes and couldn't beleive I sat through them back then. I not to sure about seeing it when it opens or waiting to rent. Opinions?

They are expecting to rack up 30 millions on the opening weekend...

I grew up as a kid watching The Dukes of Hazzard all the time! What made it even cooler for me... was that my Dad drove a '69 Charger (except his was minus the flag and was more red almost cinnamon in color)!!! Back in the day though... Bo and Luke Duke were two kick @ss guys!!! Does anyone else think that because the remake is a comedy that they seem way to pussy @ss!? I'm still going to see it though!!! Also I saw a program the other day on TV where they re-created the original opening scene jump over the police car from the TV series. They said that in the original they jumped the General Lee 66 feet... when they re-created the jump.... they soared a General 130 FEET!!!! It looked totally Awesome!!!!

I will not see this movie..absolutely not! It's a re-hash of an old idea and this seems to be the mentality of Hollywood lately and call me crazy but I find that totally boring. Where are the movies with depth that actually move people?
