Arguably one of the best swordfights in movie history. With the best villain in movie history.
It's important to understand that Rob Roy is so pissed at Archy towards the end of this film because Archibald Cunningham raped his wife, shot his dog, and burned his home to the ground.
I like this one the best, the entire movie is a great build to this fight. Nothing fancy really and I guess that's what I liked about it. There are others out there, which one is your favorite?

I love this one from Rob Roy, good film. Arguably I think the Pirates of the Carribean fight between Jack Sparrow and Will Turner was good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6BLPqSeO8U
For a very short amount of time I was part of the Salt Spring Roman Legion in An Tir, a sub section of the SCA. The "Society for Creative Anaconisms" wasn't open enough ( 600 to 1600) so we felt we could warp that to almost 400 when the Romans were still in Brittan.) We still were better than the McBeas who prided themselves as the followers of the last man convicted of cannibalism .. but then, everyone needs their hobbies. I'd like to say that I saw glorious swordplay but the reality was I saw one ex-cop bear the crap out of some other goon with a hunk of rattan and he was deemed good enough to be king because of it. For my own part, when mw and my mates lumbered up to the fearsom walls of Ft. Clinton (made from stolen real estate signs) we were already beaten and that douchebag with a poearm was sweet release.
From my experience of the best swordfight was kids with hockey sticks and garbage pail lids.
