I doubt it. I hate to say it but French is a "dead" language and it is evidenced by the two principle stakeholders in the language...the people from France and Queerbec whom both have enacted various forms of legislation to protect the purity, integrity or promote its usage.

Once any language must be moved into the areana of government regulation for content it begins the process of becoming a dead language. Latin is still spoken around the world but is heavily restricted in the addition of new words and the language is not permitted to flow and evolve, thus a dead language.

The one and only reason you post, Grain...is to piss off people. Why do you feel the need to start fights all the time? Did your mama not give enough love as a kid? I think you got issues and should consult a psychistrist...... :D

Ditto

As for the language, I don't share your opinion of it at all. The only reason we have to protect our language is because of the ''American'' Factor. Globalisation et al. So we don't really have a choice, and to say its dead, is to not see the results of bill 101 for Québec, and the french language here.

I am simply telling it like it is. If you want to take it personal due to your proximity to the French that is your choice. But can you honestly say that any language anywhere in the world that must be supported through government regulation, funding and other incursions is a vibrant evolving and living language? Seriously now.

We already know what you think about Quebec or Ontario, you stated it almost every two posts you did or so. You're no different than any separatists to me.

The fact is that you only post to irritate people. Wasn't talking about my primary language.

We all have to admit though...things would be much simpler in the world if there only existed one language.

lol i learn Latin in "Private School".

And French is not a "dead" language, in many country it's the second or third language. Like Maroc, China ( or Japan... sorry :-S ) , Haiti ( creol is like french ), some caraibe island, some country in Africa, Russia. many place in Europe.

And stop to think that Quebec don't know english !! Don't take me as exemple ! I SUCK in English ( and french too :-S, but i get better!! ). So maybe some time you don't understand me. But i understand you !

So PLEASE to topics is ( GOOD TALK ABOUT QUEBEC SEPARATION !!! )

Quebec

1- French will be officially the working language ( i live in Montreal... And we start to lost it .... People talk to me in English because i'm Black.... Like in restaurant or store.... That suck hard !! )

Canada

2- Albertans will not have to learn french at school !!!!!!!!!! ( Canada will be English, or English - Mandarin or what you want ! )

http://www.ledevoir.com/2003/09/30/37280.html
Et je pourrais continué longtemps.

[U]Canada[U]

I disagree: Some state of the U.S are now very scared of spanish and are thinking of making english the official language of their state. Some are even looking at what's going on in Québec and are thinking of doing the same. And beleive me, English is not threaten in this world...so...
