Occupy has already been successful. The 1 percenters are very nervous that this is the beginning of people saying they've had enough, which it is. Keep going down the road of socializing losses while concentrating profits in the 1 percent and there'll be more of this shit. When you have Mark Carney saying they have a point, you know that they, well, have a point.

Do you have a window in the cardboard box you live in?

Nobody gives a shit....hell, the majority of the 99% don't care.

I cared when it just started out. But people who have the time to camp out on some down town site are the typical protesters who protest against everything that has to do with making more money than collecting welfare, so now I don't give a crap anymore.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
I was and continue to be really encouraged by my local occupation as well. Just thrilled to find all these people. I've had great conversations with the lot of them.

Some of the older people have some pretty... Um... Interesting conspiracy theories to share...

So, the extent of your protest is to talk shop with some like minded anarchists over a bong?

Wow.

Probably hours since the last Overdose in the City. Yup, the Camp is to blame!!!

Let's say the camp is not to blame. Curious though that the "left leaning" MSM is focusing on the drug use, the deaths, and all the other bad things going on there and not the loose collection of personal complaints.

Fact is, whether you conveniently wish to ignore this or not, if this movement is going to have any credibility at its grass roots then it needs to police itself lest the police need to do it for them.

Sorry, you want anarchy, do it elsewhere.

Viktor Komarovsky

No drug usage at our occupation.

Not sure what else you would like us to do. Would you like us to cause a mess and break some windows so you can arrest us and call us more pathetic names?

Nope. You want to change the world, do something outside of standing around wishing things were different.

Got homeless people in Kelowna? Help them.

Got poor people in Kelowna? Volunteer in a soup kitchen. Volunteer in a shelter by cleaning toilets, sweeping floors, and washing dishes.

Got elderly people in Kelowna that can't make ends meet because of the decisions of the 1%? Then get off your fucking holes and help them. Mow their lawn, bake them some bread, do anything but congratulate yourselves on the latest bullshit unreasonable demand you came up with to make upon the rest of Canada.

So far all I've seen from the biased "Liberal media" which is giving you guys a lot of positive attention is on how little you guys really do.

So Mr Canada, whatever you do, don't do anything to upset the apple cart. Just do some things to ameliorate the effects of the cleptocracy, but for God's sake leave them alone.

I get that you're some tired old hack on disability for a "bad back" that has maxed out your efforts in being a social activist to the proverbial emptying of your colostomy bag in the forums, but there is a bit more to making change than simply standing about with a hand drawn placard and a jacket with a hammer and sickle.

The fact that you wish everyone to emulate your example of low activist ability so that you can feel a bit better about yourself should not preclude others from moving from wishing to make a difference to trying to make a difference. Assisting those who have been screwed over by the proverbial one percent demonstrates far better than your childish musings on an internet forum to stay the course and do nothing, that as a community, they will not stand for it anymore.
