I'm not surprised by the results so far as I figured it would be close. Not all states are done with counting yet, especially in California which has many districts, and the Dems could still get the majority of the House.

I guess it's the extent of tribalism that surprises me. People will vote for their 'tribe' at the cost of the society, when the 'tribe' really means nothing in the long run.
