Lauren Bobeet is on the verge of losing her seat.

But in shitty news, the county in which the Uvalde shooting happened, Greg Abbots is beating Beto by 20 points.

Gonna be interesting when the demographics of the vote get released, especially the turnout from the "it's the youth who will save us, version 3.0". Did the kids bother to come out and participate? Or did they stay home on their not-smart phones making more TikTok videos about how difficult life as an influencer is? Or did they instead remain inside all day making a bunch of Tweets about how stunning & brave the "woman of the year" Dylan Mulvaney is? If it's the former then great, more power to you. If it's the latter though, and the midterms got the usual "meh" no matter how critical they are this time around? Well, far too many of the M's & Z's have shown a lot of depressing indications that they don't deserve democracy anyway, so maybe it's better in the long run if they lose the privileges outright. Sometimes these things have to happen as a short sharp shock as a reminder to what is really important and what is genuinely a waste of energy & time.

No signs of a "red wave" — but GOP likely to win House, with Senate too close to call

Pyrrhic victory for GQP. No red surge but they will get the house and senate is a coin flip at this point.

Yeah I’m curious too. It’s a perennial, global problem, getting the youth to vote. There were some sign the youth vote was up and other where it was way down (8:1 of boomers to yutes in Georgia).

The stat I want to see is the woman vote. How many women were moved to vote and how many voted against their own freedom.

Lauren 75% reporting and she is still down 7k. I think they are gonna call it.

Beto NEVER had a shot.

Shapiro winning in PA is critical, and probably the best news of the night for the Dems. That Mastriano guy is a complete nut, crazy even by the standards of Trumpites.

Here's hoping that the Boebert news is legit and she has to go back to her old job of throwing her feces at passer-byes who get too close to her cage at the zoo.

Lake in Arizona is getting clobbered, and that's up there for the Dems as much as the results from PA are. Wonder what it is about these pro-Trump women that makes them seem so much more awful than pro-Trump men? Must be a Karen Effect with them all, in that they don't hold back on the insanity and crappiness of character that they apparently need to be part of Team Scumbag.

Also, Fettermann just won in a squeaker in PA, sending hand-picked Trump grifter Mehmet Oz back to his previous job of selling healing crystals and old copies of The Secret on the Home Shopping Channel.

I know. If you would think that in all the places in Texas that people might reevaluate their feeling on Abbot, it would be Uvalde. But yet again the chickens have voted for the foxes.
